Francois-Eugène Rousseau aka Eugene Rousseau was born in Paris on March 17 , 1827 and died in the same town on June 12 , 1890. He was a master glass maker , artist of the decorative arts movement. His work introduced Japonism into French glass making and most of his works used Japanese motifs in their design. He established his business as a merchant in 1855 and specialized in porcelain and earthenware at number 43 rue Coquillière in Paris. Reference: Wikipedia
