An Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) cast gilt brass table casket made by Erhard & Sohne, Germany, early 20th century. Domed lid with hinged handle and hinged lockplate. Body completely decorated in relief with scrolling flowers and vines, fitted velvet lined interior, short bracket feet, complete with original key bearing the Erhard & Sohn lion, and hallmarked on base, 4.5 in. height x 7.5 in. length x 4 in. width, 4lbs weight, condition very good, some patination.
