Porcelain Vases

Porcelain vases of the Art Nouveau era tended to have stylized naturalistic designs such as flowers, fish and ladies in flowing dresses. Bulbous forms were popular as well as many other designs such as baskets and bottle vases.

Rare and large porcelain vase Daisies of the Imperial Porcelain Factory, 1915, cone-shaped in Art Nouveau style. The quivering and poignant motif of wildflowers was designed by N.F. Daladugin. Master form turner G.S. Mironov is marked with the letter M in the test. Green underglaze mark of the Imperial Porcelain Factory. H II 1915. Made for the royal family`s charity auctions to help the wounded and the medical services of the front.
